Rainbow Bay on the Gold Coast is one of my favourite beaches for doing family photos . Unlike all the other beaches, being on the East Coast of Australia….where the the sun sets in the West meaning that the golden light of the setting sun can light up your family with the ocean in the background…..At Rainbow bay….because of the way the bay curves around from Coolangatta, in winter the sun actually sets over the ocean which can be stunningly magnificent as you can see in the photos above. Rainbow bay also offers some other background opportunities for your family portraits. Great for if you like lots of variety within your Family or Family reunion photos.
